Sue is a self-taught planner who specializes in small SMERFS; she also manages several small associations. Sue started her career on July 4th, 1987. Sue is a self professed MeCo addict and has been a member since January 6th, 2006 and a moderator since January 8, 2006. Convention South Magazine where Sue is a member of the Editorial Board has named her as person to watch in 2012. She loves the many challenges of being a planner and wonders why she did not find the profession sooner.
Friday's moderator is active in several civic organizations, including the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago where she is Secretary of the Board of Trustees and the Better Cities Committee of Illinois. Unusual factoid about Sue: she also teach students economics via distance learning for the Henry George Institute.
Sue have been married to my husband & business partner, Scott, since 1982. Her hobbies including reading, visiting history & art museums and listening to classical as well as classic rock & folk music. She also likes discussing current events!
Sue is a native of UpState New York and a 1971 Graduate of Keuka College with a major in American History and Political Science. She has lived in Chicago's North Shore Suburbs since 1977.
